FEMA Issues Notice of New Flood Hazard Maps for Lisle

FEMA has issued notice of new flood maps for the Village of Lisle.

Update: 4/30/2014
Link to the April 14, 2014 FEMA Letter of Map Revision sent to Village of Lisle HERE.

The 90-day appeal period opens on May 2, 2014 and closes on July 31, 2014.

This notice was published in the classified section of the Daily Herald on April 25, 2014.

Again, we find nothing on the Village of Lisle website, Village of Lisle Facebook page, Village of Lisle twitter site, nor in the Village of Lisle's paid advertising in the for-profit publication called "Neighbors" ... We don't find it anywhere but on the FEMA website and in the classified section of the local newspaper. (How often do you read the classified ads?)

FEMA has issued a LOMR "Letter of Map Revision" to the Village of Lisle.

But, you will NOT find a copy of that LOMR letter here:
(Lisle Watchdog has requested that the Village of Lisle post this info online)

Per FEMA,
"Because a LOMR officially revises the effective NFIP map, it is a public record that the community must maintain. Any LOMR should be noted on the community's master flood map and filed by panel number in an accessible location."
